More Control Over What You Sync

Users can now independently manage cloud synchronization across three categories: Personal Profile Data, Health Data and Workout Data. Rather than an all-or-nothing setting, users can choose which supported data categories they want to synchronize. Before making a change, the Zepp App explains what it means, including which features, backup or connected experiences may be affected.

Local First. Cloud When You Choose It.

When cloud synchronization is disabled for a supported category, new information in that category remains stored locally and is no longer uploaded to the Zepp cloud. Users who want cloud synchronization can continue to use it for benefits such as backup, account recovery, cross-device synchronization and connected experiences. The goal is simple: privacy and a great product experience should coexist.

What Comes Next

Zepp App 10.8.5 is the first step. Future phases are planned to expand data portability, including export and restoration capabilities for supported personal information, alongside clearer privacy information and support resources.
